Combined Nrain Casablanca sits on a 5-katha plot in Sector 9 of Jolshiri Abashon, its rear face opening onto the lake that runs through this part of the residential zone. The water is not incidental to the project. It is the condition around which every spatial and material decision is organised, the building orienting itself toward the lake with a generosity of glazing and terrace depth that few apartment towers in Dhaka allow.

The facade is composed as a layered vertical garden. Planted balconies step and shift at each floor, their timber-screened faces and trailing vegetation building a green surface that softens the concrete frame without obscuring its structural logic. The warm tone of the timber screens reads against the pale grey of the concrete in a material palette that is restrained but never cold, its domestic quality reinforced by the scale of the individual terrace spaces, each large enough to constitute a genuine outdoor room.

The ground floor is resolved with particular care. A double-height porte-cochere with a timber-clad soffit and herringbone-patterned forecourt establishes a ceremonial threshold between street and lobby, the arrival sequence given a weight and deliberateness that elevates the entry from a functional transition to an architectural experience.

The rooftop carries the lakeside condition to its logical conclusion. A generous outdoor deck with a pool opens the building's crown to the water and the sky, the perforated concrete parapet above punched with a grid of circular openings that filters light and frames the view without fully enclosing it.
