The Enamul Haque apartment is a study in the coexistence of opposing material sensibilities within a single domestic interior. White surfaces and restrained minimalism provide the ground; against them, a series of carefully placed objects and installations introduce texture, warmth, and a quiet theatricality that prevents the space from retreating into blankness.

The living area is organised around a fluted white wall panel that runs the height of the room, its vertical rhythm providing a neutral but textured backdrop for a salon-style arrangement of framed artworks. A long grey sectional sofa anchors the floor plane, its low profile emphasising the generosity of the ceiling height above. Black track lighting cuts across the ceiling as a linear counterpoint to the white field below, directing attention without imposing form.

The foyer and sitting alcove carry the project's most composed moment. Two tall-back armchairs upholstered in deep green velvet, their frames traced in gold, face a backlit wall panel of herringbone-patterned tile. Above and between them, a sculptural cluster of bronze leaf forms floats against the illuminated surface, their organic irregularity in precise counterpoint to the geometric order of the tile beneath. The effect is of a domestic interior that has absorbed certain ambitions of the gallery without abandoning the comfort of the home.

The staircase wall is treated as a surface installation in its own right. Clustered circular tube elements, rendered in a concrete-grey finish, are arranged across the wall in a pattern that thickens toward the centre and disperses at the edges, suggesting natural growth or accumulation rather than applied decoration.

The television wall unit in the main living area is a composed grid of open timber shelving, its proportions generous enough to carry curated objects alongside the screen without appearing crowded. Together with the adjacent floor-to-ceiling glazing that draws light deep into the plan, this wall establishes the room's dual character, ordered and inhabited at once.
