RUN OUT Films Ltd
Corporate Office · Banani, Dhaka

Creative offices carry a particular obligation that conventional workplaces do not. They must not merely accommodate work; they must actively provoke it, maintaining an atmosphere in which imagination remains possible even as deadlines accumulate. At RUN OUT Films Ltd, a production and advertising company in Banani, 23/90 Architects designed for exactly this condition, producing an interior where the culture of filmmaking is embedded into every surface and every piece of furniture.

The project's central spatial invention is a communal work table conceived for the specific realities of a creative team. In a space where floor area is limited, a single elongated table with a sculptural plywood base of angular, trapezoid geometry serves the entire studio floor. Steel rod legs support a glass top, and the table sits on a field of artificial grass carpet that defines the work zone without walls. The base itself has the quality of a film set prop examined closely, its planes cutting at angles that suggest movement and decision rather than the stasis of conventional furniture.

The ceiling carries the studio's identity with the confidence of a title card. Three-dimensional amber lettering spells RUNOUT across the length of the room, suspended from the ceiling structure at reading height, so that the company name becomes part of the spatial experience rather than a sign posted above it. Below this, orange accent panels carry Monsters Inc. graphic art and motivational text directed at team culture, the visual language of the film world absorbed into the architecture of the office that makes it.

Film poster art, Inception, Anchorman, and others, lines one wall in a curated salon arrangement, treating the work of cinema as both reference and aspiration. An informal seating area with a raised plywood step platform offers an alternative mode of gathering, somewhere between a director's viewing position and a studio lounge.

RUN OUT Films is a workspace that knows what it does and says so at every turn. That confidence, worn lightly through wit and material play, is precisely what a creative studio requires.
